Character Notes: An Autobot soldier, Bumblebee has been fighting alongside his leader, Optimus Prime against Megatron and his Decepticons since the beginning of the war on Cybertron. During the battle of Tyger Pax, Megatron's forces attacked searching for the Allspark. Bumblebee's squad attempted to hold off the Decepticons, but were eventually overwhelmed. They were captured and tortured by Swindle. Megatron intervened personally to torture Bumblebee for information. However, the Autobots refused to speak long enough for Prime's secret plan to take effect - launching the Allspark into outer space. Megatron attempted to pursue it, but Bumblebee stopped him. An enraged Megatron crushed Bumblebee's voice capacitor, promising to seize the Allspark for himself eventually. Bumblebee recovers although his voice is damaged beyond repair. Bumblebee then volunteered to head into space to stop Megatron from acquiring the Allspark.

Bumblebee arrived on Earth, managing to track down Sam Witwicky and allowing himself to be purchased as a 1977 Camaro, due in no small part to his damaging every other car on the lot. Eventually, Bumblebee reveals himself and the other Autobots to Sam and Mikaela before being captured and tortured by the government group known as Sector 7. Fortunately, Sam managed to negotiate his release and Bumblebee helps fight the Decepticons in Mission City as Sam attempts to escape with the Allspark. The Autobot lost his legs during the battle, but with Mikaela's help managed to down Devestator with well aimed plasma cannon fire. After the battle, his voice has been restored by Ratchet's expert medical attention. Bumblebee made a request to stay with Sam, which wass granted.

Bumblebee is absolutely loyal to Optimus Prime, the Autobot cause, and his friend Sam Witwicky. He would give his life for any of them, without hesitation. Headstrong and brave, Bee occasionally tends to leap into situations without thinking, though he normally tries to maintain a cool head and remain cautious. Off the battlefield, Bumblebee has a playful sense of humor, often making others around him the butt of his jokes. He has a fondness for human music and culture, often spending hours poring over the facets of human life on the internet. His other fondness is, naturally for a ground based Autobot, driving really fast.
